NATURE IS ART

About me

Born Cologne 1956

I have always enjoyed painting. Although I like the accuracy of botanical illustrations I feel that part of a picture should show that you are looking at a painting rather than a photograph. Any plant, fruit or seed head presents a challenge and the ones I like most are the ones which look a bit unusual, have shrivelled or are nibbled by creatures. And the creatures themselves need to be painted too, of course.

I now live in Adelaide, South Australia.
